5 Reasons I'm the Right Fit

  1. Previous experience: Prior to attending Marquette University I worked at Upstaging Inc. stocking and helping manage the inventory at their Sycamore facilities. While working I would frequently be put in charge of a group of fellow seasonal workers informing them of their tasks for the day, assisting and supervising their work, and reporting back to ,my superiors about updated inventory and completed tasks. My superiors sited my dedication, leadership skills, and reliability for naming me "The Boss of the Back Isles".

  2. Work Ethic: Going into work I've always had the mentality if I respect someone enough to work for them and they pay me for my time then they will get my full undivided attention and effort. My parents instilled in me that you have to work hard to succeed in this world and I will do so day after day for as long as I work for you.

  3. Interest and experiences: At my alma mater Hampshire Highschool I was one of the few in my graduating class to have taken every business class the school offered. All of which were taught by previously successful business men/women. During my time at Hampshire Highschool I was lucky enough to have most of my business classes be taught by Eric Samuelson; previously a top salesman at Nike. Mr. Samuelson sparked my interest in business with his hands on approach often having us get into the role of say a salesman or advertiser and either presenting a pitch or advertisement that we'd crafted over weeks of the class while he used his real world experiences to try and tear us down. This harsh love would send you back to the drawing board to rework your approach for your next attempt all with the goal of selling him your product or getting him to invest. This exercise was what made me fall in love with the world of business and provided me with the ability to take a loss and learn from the experience.

  4. Adaptability: With my previous experiences and ever-expanding knowledge from my studies at Marquette. I like to believe I've grown a nice repertoire of experiences and the ability to adapt and overcome new experiences rather quickly. I've taken classes for management, sales, advertising, stats, economics, real estate, accounting, marketing, and even business law. If you give me the time I can fit into any role and will be ready to put my team into the best position possible.

  5. Leadership: Growing up I often found myself naturally falling into leadership roles, I was the captain of the defense for my soccer team growing up, my friends would describe me as the "dad" of the group since I take on the role of the communicative responsible problem solver on trips and while playing games. I typically find myself the "leader" of group projects, and to prove this further in my business law class since I had led my team to such a landslide victory in the first mock trial I was offered a special role during our second mock trial to prep the entirety of the defendants side (defendant, witnesses, and the lawyers) while my teacher Rose Bredlau a former Business law lawyer prepped the other side. But I'd have to watch my team from the side line and couldn't help with anything on the day of the mock trial. Finally, most recently as I mentioned in the first point I was labeled as the leader of the summer help and took that role very seriously.
